May 21, 2004 - Only 4:00pm and I’m ready for dinner and bed time. Only put in 19.6 miles today but it was some hard stuff. Dan and I passed Paul about 30 minutes after leaving camp this morning (still waiting for him). There should be a big group here tonight at Cable Cap Shelter. Tomorrow is an easy 5.5 miles to the road that takes you to Fontana Village. I’m so close to a shower and some good eating. I’m looking forward to staying the night at the Inn. It’s only $15 for a room and only you have to share it with one guy rather than $15 at the hostile. Time for dinner.
